What Hunters Are Saying

★★★★★

"Best elk hunt of my life. The outfitter was dialed in, the country was unreal, and we had bulls screaming every morning. Already booked again for next fall."

Travis M.

Colorado Archery Elk · 2024

★★★★★

"First guided hunt ever. Kurt's team made it easy — from picking the right trip to showing up at camp knowing exactly what to expect. Harvested my first bull at 58 yards."

Randy D.

Wyoming Elk · First Bull · 2023

★★★★★

"Did the Alberta bear hunt as seen on WOTV. Watched the episode first, knew exactly what I was getting into. The outfitter was incredible. 100% would recommend to anyone."

Yes — every outfitter in our catalog is licensed in their state, insured, and has been personally vetted by Kurt Belding. Many have also been filmed on Western Obsession TV, so you can watch them in action before you book.

If you need to cancel, you have three options: (1) transfer your hunt to another party who assumes all remaining financial obligations, (2) push your trip to the following year, or (3) forfeit all payments made to date. There are no free cancellations. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Check your specific trip page for full details.

Absolutely. We'll guide you through the tag application process for each state, including draw odds, over-the-counter options, and deadlines. Some hunts require draw tags — we'll let you know well in advance.

Yes — we offer flexible payment options. You can put 20% down to lock in your trip and pay the rest in monthly installments before your hunt. We also work with financing partners if you prefer that route. Talk to your consultant about which option works best for you.

WO Trip Protection is our rebooking guarantee. For 5% of your trip cost, we guarantee that if something happens on the outfitter's end — they cancel, go out of business, a wildfire shuts down the area, or the state cancels the season — we'll rebook you on a comparable hunt at no extra cost. It's added right to your booking contract. Ask your consultant about it when you book.

Yes — many of our hunters are first-timers on a guided hunt. We'll help you pick the right trip for your experience level, fitness, and goals. Our outfitters are experienced with hunters of all backgrounds.
