Layaway Payment Plan Terms

Western Obsessions Hunt Adventures offers a Layaway Payment Plan to help clients spread the cost of their guided hunting trip into manageable monthly payments. This is a layaway arrangement, not a credit transaction.

Payment Structure

  • First payment (due at booking): 20% of the total trip cost + 5% layaway service fee
  • Remaining balance: 80% of the total trip cost, divided into equal monthly installments
  • All payments must be completed no later than 30 days before the trip start date

Layaway Service Fee

The layaway service fee is 5% of the total trip cost. This is a non-refundable administrative fee for managing an installment payment schedule. The layaway fee is not interest, a finance charge, or a cost of credit. The fee is earned by the Company upon booking and is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Example

For a $10,000 trip:

  • Layaway fee: $500 (5%)
  • First payment at booking: $2,500 (20% + $500 fee)
  • Remaining balance: $8,000 split into equal monthly payments

Automatic Payments

All installment payments are collected via ACH (automatic bank debit) as authorized during the booking process. Payments are due on the same calendar day each month as the original booking date.

Non-Refundable Payments

All payments made under the Layaway Payment Plan are non-refundable. If the client cancels the trip, defaults on any payment, or fails to complete the payment schedule, all amounts paid to date are forfeited.

Failed Payments

  • If an automatic payment fails, the client will be notified and must pay within 5 business days
  • If two or more payments fail during the payment schedule, the Company reserves the right to cancel the trip and retain all payments made to date

Services & Trip Confirmation

The trip and all associated services remain the property of the Company until all payments are received in full. No trip services, confirmations, or outfitter assignments will be finalized until the total amount (including layaway fee) has been paid in full.

Early Payoff

You may pay the remaining balance in full at any time without penalty.
