Nebraska is one of the most underrated big game states in the country, and this operation proves it with two private-land camps spanning more than 66,000 acres. The western camp runs 60,000 private acres through the legendary Sandhills, Wildcat Hills, and Pine Ridge country, while a second 6,000-acre camp sits in the farm and creek-bottom country of south-central Nebraska.
Between the two camps you can chase mature whitetails, management and trophy mule deer, archery antelope, and spring turkeys — or stack species in one of the multi-species combo hunts. Big game hunts are guided 2×1, and hunt windows run from early September archery all the way through December muzzleloader seasons.
Whitetail Hunts
Western Nebraska whitetail hunting is a game of patience, glass, and timing. Vast agricultural fields, winding river bottoms, and shelterbelts create ideal habitat for big-bodied deer with heavy antlers. Bucks here grow old by using open country to their advantage — traveling long distances, bedding smart, and moving with purpose during the rut. Whether you’re bowhunting the edge of a cut cornfield or rifle hunting a cottonwood-lined creek, this is classic Plains whitetail hunting where strategy matters and mature bucks are always a real possibility. There are no antler minimums or trophy fees on whitetail.
The hunting style stays diverse depending on the farm being hunted. Millennium ladder stands and lock-ons, Muddy box blinds, Barronett ground blinds, and brush blinds are all in play, and if you’d rather stay off an elevated stand, ground-level setups keep you comfortable. All elevated stands are equipped with Hunter Safety System lifelines. Hunts run from early season archery in September, through pre-rut and rut archery in October and November, into rifle dates in November and muzzleloader dates in December. If you’re comparing private-land whitetail options, this outfit’s northwest Kansas whitetail hunts and our Texas Hill Country whitetail hunts are strong picks.
Mule Deer Hunts
The Sandhills and Pine Ridge country grow genuinely big mule deer, and the program is split so you can hunt the class of buck that fits your goals. Management and meat buck hunts target deer up to 149 inches, while trophy hunts go after bucks 150 inches and better. Both are offered with archery, rifle, or muzzleloader — expect spot-and-stalk hunting across open range, choppy dunes, and pine breaks.
Antelope Hunts
Archery antelope hunts run 2×1 over four days during the September and early October window — a mix of water and blind sits with spot-and-stalk opportunities. Rifle antelope hunts are available for Nebraska residents only, with both doe and buck options. Looking for a rifle antelope hunt as a nonresident? Check out our Eastern Colorado pronghorn hunt.
Combo Hunts
This is where the two-camp, multi-species lineup really shines. Combo hunts let you chase two species in one five-day trip: mule deer and antelope with a bow in September–October, whitetail and antelope with a bow in the same window, whitetail and mule deer with a bow from September through November, or the flagship November rifle combo for both mule deer and whitetail. Mule deer on combo hunts are trophy-class bucks, 150 inches and better.
Spring Turkey Hunts
Spring turkey camps cover two distinct Nebraska hunts. In the western and northwest country it’s guided Merriam’s hunts. At the south-central camp it’s unguided hybrid hunts with one or two tom options. Meals and lodging are not included on any hunt. Serious turkey hunters can run a guided two-state combo chasing a Merriam’s in Nebraska and a Rio Grande in Kansas, six days for two toms.
Small Game & Predators
Prairie dog shoots run May through September in the western camp. The south-central camp adds unguided upland bird hunts for wild pheasant and quail plus coyote and bobcat predator hunts. Small game and predator bookings require a minimum of two hunters hunting two or more days.
