Kansas is nationally recognized as one of the premier trophy whitetail states in the country, and this northwest Kansas operation puts you on 25,000 strictly managed private acres in the heart of it. Creek corridors, CRP grass, and agricultural fields hold big-bodied deer that grow old in open country — the kind of place where a 150-inch buck is a real, every-sit possibility.
All whitetail hunts are guided 2×1 and run five days, with archery, muzzleloader, and rifle windows from September through December. The same ground also offers spring Rio Grande turkey hunts, unguided wild pheasant and quail hunts, and coyote and bobcat predator hunts — making this a true year-round Kansas destination.
Whitetail Hunts
Hunt windows follow the rhythm of the season: early muzzleloader hunts in September, pre-rut archery in late October and early November, rut archery in mid-November, and rifle hunts in early December. Every hunt is five days, guided 2×1, on private ground managed for mature deer.
Nonresident hunters draw a unit-specific Kansas whitetail permit — your consultant will walk you through application deadlines and timing so your hunt and your tag line up. If you want to hunt whitetail while you wait on a Kansas draw, take a look at our Nebraska whitetail, mule deer and antelope hunts with the same outfit.
Spring Turkey Hunts
Spring turkey here means Rio Grande gobblers on the same private ground, with three-day hunts offered guided or unguided. Serious turkey hunters can step up to the guided two-state combo — a Rio Grande in Kansas plus a Merriam’s in Nebraska, six days for two toms.
Upland Birds
Wild pheasant and quail hunts run unguided on the same 25,000 acres, with state bag limits of four roosters and eight quail. Meals and lodging are not included. Upland bookings require a minimum of two hunters hunting two or more days. Want a full-service bird hunt instead? See our luxury Kansas bird hunting trip.
Predator Hunts
Coyote and bobcat hunts are offered unguided with the same two-hunter, two-day minimum — a great add-on to a deer or bird trip, or a budget-friendly way to hunt Kansas in the off-season.
