Hunting across a combination of private and public land in Southern Colorado offers the best of both worlds: the unpressured, managed habitat of private acreage and the vast, rugged backcountry of the National Forest or BLM lands. This “hybrid” approach is particularly effective during the later rifle seasons, as hunters can use private lowlands as a sanctuary for deer pushed down by snow or hunting pressure from higher-elevation public peaks.
Private ranch hunts are conducted on 10,000 acres of prime wildlife habitat. Public land hunts are in the Pike and San Isabel National Forests as well as BLM land and are administered through the San Carlos Ranger District. We offer the option of clean and comfortable cabins.
Base camp consists of very comfy cabin accommodations with propane heat, lights and hot showers. A hunt from this camp will provide fond memories for years to come. Hunts are conducted from 4-wheel drive trucks and on foot. We have a full-time packer/wrangler and horses to transport your kill to camp. We can make arrangements for care of your trophy and meat upon your request. There are numerous meat processors and taxidermists in the local area.

Outfitter will give you directions to the lodge prior to the hunt. Closest town is Rye Colorado. Arrive one day before the hunt.

WO Trip Protection
For 5% of your trip cost, we guarantee your hunt. If the outfitter cancels, goes out of business, or a wildfire shuts down the area — we rebook you on a comparable hunt at no extra cost.
