The ranch sits at the headwaters of the San Saba River, surrounded by mesquite, prickly pear, and live oak. Wild hogs are everywhere on this property year-round. When you are not hunting, fish for largemouth bass and flathead catfish on the river, sight in your rifle at the on-site range, or cool off in the cowboy pool. The restored 1930s ranch lodge sleeps your whole group in style with full kitchens, flat-screen TVs, and a fire pit out back.
Hunt Style & Methods
This is a true choose-your-own-adventure hog hunt. During the day, sit stands positioned over bait and water stations across the property, or run hogs with trained bay dogs through the rocky Hill Country terrain. At night, the action ramps up — hunt with thermal imaging equipment or motion-activated green lights to catch hogs feeding in the dark. Bow, rifle, and crossbow are all welcome. There is no limit on the number of hogs you can take.
The Ranch & Lodge
The lodge is a fully restored 1930s ranch house upgraded with modern comforts. You get indoor and outdoor showers, a washer and dryer, indoor and outdoor full kitchens, BBQ, and a fire pit for winding down after the hunt. The cowboy swimming pool is the perfect way to beat the Texas heat between sessions. A fully equipped game processing facility on-site includes sinks, winches, scales, and a large walk-in cooler so you can break down your hogs right at the ranch. Groups of 4 to 6 hunters keep the experience personal and the lodge comfortable.
